As their new EP Queendom launches in the runner-up rung on the Gaon Albums chart, Red Velvet’s single of the same name manages to open at No. 1 on the Gaon Download chart, the tally that ranks the bestselling individual songs in South Korea every week. The track also opens at No. 6 on the all-encompassing Gaon Digital roster, which lists the most-consumed tunes in the nation.

This week, four songs debut inside the top 10 on the Gaon Download chart, while one other cut lifts into the area, when it wasn’t present in the tier last time around.

Tomorrow X Together nearly scores two No. 1s in South Korea this week, as their single “Loser=Lover” launches at No. 2 on the Gaon Download chart. The band’s new project The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape, a repackaging of their recent full-length The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, opens atop the Gaon Albums list.

Down two pegs to third place is The Boyz’s “Thrill Ride,” which launched at No. 1 last frame.

Behind that win, three hits rise from where they ranked last period, with Somi’s “Dumb Dumb,” Seventeen’s “Is It Still Beautiful” and Lee Moo-jin “Traffic Light” improving to Nos. 4, 5 and 6, respectively.

Down a pair of spaces is the appropriately-titled “Fall” (looking at its performance on the ranking) by AKMU and IU, which descends to No. 7.

The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s “Stay,” already a global hit, lifts into the top 10 on this week’s Gaon Download chart, improving by double-digit spaces to settle at No. 8.

South Korean duo Davichi are back inside the top 10 on the Gaon Download chart with their new release “Looking at Photos,” which breaks into the highest tier by kicking off its time on the tally at No. 10.
