Ciara is opening up about her weight loss journey, revealing on Wednesday that she feels ‘super motivated and committed’ to achieving her goal weight with the help of WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.
The 35-year-old singer has been on a mission to lose her baby weight after giving birth to son Win over the summer, ultimately hoping to shed nearly 50 pounds.
First revealing her progress in January, she shared that she had lost 28 pounds thus far, and she continued to share this week that though not quite there, this journey has been ‘fun.’

After giving birth to Win, seven months, she shared that she naturally lost 15 pounds, partnering up with WW in September to give her that final push.
Shortly after the partnership she had lost an additional five pounds before revealing she was over halfway there in January. ‘Super Proud of where I am starting off 2021! Down 28 pounds…this journey has been easy, stress free and fun!’
After her last pregnancy with daughter Sienna, three, she miraculously shed 50-pounds in five months — after gaining 65 pounds throughout the pregnancy —pushing herself to the limit with training sessions two to three times a day.

Despite seeing quick results, she revealed that she may have been a bit too intense calling it the ‘craziest system,’ realizing after that ‘moderation’ was key.
‘I’ve definitely been picking up more burgers and fries. Life is just so much better that way! I just do things in moderation,’ she told People.
This time around she has found luck with the meal program while also taking a liking to strength training, the peloton, and even a bit of dancing, recently showing off her progress on a trip to Mexico with husband Russell Wilson and their kids.
Ciara called the program ‘more realistic and balanced,’ adding, ‘I want to enjoy life and enjoy food, and WW gives me that option.’
